The Center of Qualifications’ Assessment with reference to design, engineering, construction, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities was established by the Centre of Expertise for Major Construction Projects (CEMCP), which is the private institution of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.

The purpose of CEMCP CQA is to independently assess the qualifications of employees and persons applying for a certain type of labor activities related to design, engineering, construction and decommissioning of nuclear facilities.

CEMCP CQA tasks


Main business directions of CEMCP CQA

  • Independent Qualifications’ Assessment (IQA) of employees and persons applying for a certain type of labor activities related to design, engineering, construction and decommissioning of nuclear facilities.
  • Development of draft titles of qualifications and requirements to qualifications
  • Development of assessment tools for relevant qualifications
  • Formation and training of the expert community of CEMCP CQA
  • Presentation of NIQA results to the Council for Professional Qualifications
  • Issuance of qualification certificates
  • Formation and submission of reports on the CEMCP CQA activities
  • Publication of information about the conducted IQAs in the Federal Register
