Rosatom’s team starts training before the World Construction Championship IV
Participants and experts of the state corporation are passing test tasks.
Rosatom’s team started training to prepare for participation in the World Construction Championship IV, a large-scale event for representatives of the construction industry, which will be held in Ekaterinburg since 1st till 4th of October as part of the International Construction Week.
At the moment, the participants and experts selected by the state corporation are performing test tasks. They will compete with specialists from 79 regions of Russia, as well as with those from 11 countries, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Qazaqstan, Türkiye, Egypt and others, from where applications for participation have been submitted.
“We are happy that participation in the World Construction Championship attracts many talented people from different countries. Among the 3,000 participants registered so far, 55 percent are young people. Alongside the application campaign, the business program is being prepared. A number of contract signings are planned between participating companies as part of development programs. I am sure that the participants of the Championship will reflect a high level of preparation not only among industry professionals, but also in the categories of the Student and School Leagues, because this is a talent pool for Russian construction companies, on which they rely in the future.”

This year's competition will be held along 34 nominations, including four categories for participants with disabilities. The Championship final program will locate in the capital of the Sverdlovsk Region and include the competitions, business, cultural, and leisure events, as well as a youth track. The World Construction Championship IV is a large-scale event for representatives of the construction industry, designed to improve the qualifications of specialists and introduce advanced technologies into their professional activities. The Championship was established by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation in February, 2020. The Championship was first held in 2021. Each year this event involves over 10 thousand people: industry professionals, students, and school pupils. The event is traditionally supported by Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation. The official founders of the Championship in 2024 are the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation; Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation; Gazprom, PJSC; Russia’s Student Teams (RST) youth social agency; and RZD, PJSC. The Championship is organized by the Presidential Platform “Russia, the Opportunity Country”, Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization (ANCO), and co-organized by the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Russia is consistently developing international relations, including those with friendly countries. The Championship platform will enable representatives of foreign countries to agree on harmonization of standards and qualifications, share experience and arrange new partnerships and alliances.
